CFUW 2026 AGM International Relations & International Women's Day Awards

Description

The two awards managed by the CFUW International Relations Standing Committee are: one for a program offered in celebration of International Women’s Day, and scheduled on or near March 8th, and another, the International Award, for a project with an international theme that may take place at any time during the year.

Either of those two awards may be associated with an event that involves the International Service Project in Zambia, but that is not a requirement.

The application forms indicate what the Awards Subcommittee will be considering as they review applications. The preface to the application forms states: “A Club is ineligible to receive the IWD award if they have received it within the past 3 years for the same event unless they can explain how the event has been significantly changed from that for which they previously received the award.”

We know that Clubs are doing very worthwhile international projects and look forward to hearing from you and celebrating with all CFUW members when the awards are given and your projects are publicized!
