This event on June 18 at 6:00 pm is sponsored by CFUW-Ottawa and our University Women Helping Afghan Women - a dedicated group of volunteers who bring this incredible event to our community each year. Together with our Canadian partner, Right to Learn Afghanistan, we support young women in Afghanistan by ensuring they remain connected to learning through reliable internet access and English language training with volunteer tutors, all delivered safely within their own homes.

This is our primary fundraiser, and we are delighted to have world-renowned Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, Dr. Sima Samar, as our distinguished keynote speaker. You will also be part of great conversation over dinner and have the opportunity to bid on an exciting array of silent and live auction items.
