On November 18, the CFUW-Ottawa Environmental Action Group will welcome a leader of Canadian environmental advocacy, Tim Gray, Executive Director of Environmental Defence, as our guest. All CFUW members and interested friends are welcome to attend the meeting and hear him speak. You will have the opportunity to ask questions at the meeting. 

Environmental Defence, supported by more than 365,000 Canadians, works to defend clean water, a safe climate and healthy communities. Tim is a well-respected contact for governments, industry and individuals seeking extensive environmental knowledge and a practical understanding of complex problems; he promotes solutions for stopping urban sprawl, eliminating toxic chemicals from the products we use, cleaning up plastic pollution and transitioning from the use of fossil fuels to clean and renewable energy systems.
