CFUW Cambridge was formed in 1954 in what was then Galt, Preston and Hespeler.  It’s purpose was to promote understanding and friendship among university women and to work for the advancement of education, art, science, literature and social reform.

Life-long learning was important then and continues today! Monthly meetings address educational, political, social and cultural issues. Annually, CFUW Cambridge provides awards and scholarships to local female students in high school and post secondary institutions.
