CFUW Coquitlam is a local chapter of CFUW National which has played a critical role in most women’s issues in Canada for over one hundred years. CFUW works under and is known by their acronym, rather than their historic name “Canadian Federation of University Women” to reflect the fact that a university degree is not required to be a welcomed and equal member of the organization.
